personalities to avoid in life!

Hey lovelies! it's been a while i have been getting a lot done lately, but i miss you all and i hope everyone is doing wonderful! congrats too class of 2009! My little sister is graduating next Saturday, so congrats to everyone making it out of high school and getting ready to step in
to the real world. well today this blog is dedicated to you soon to be graduates!

I want to talk about toxic personalities that you should stay away from, once you all head to college and the business world these people are all over the place and they love to bring other down to their miserable level so let's find out who they are!!


Now I know that we like to think that all the people in our lives are well-adjusted, happy, healthy minded individuals, unfortunately a lot of folks are not this way and you have to weed them out asap. I have personally had moments where I've been happy all day,
and I'll be Damned if someone did not use their negativity to try and suck the happiness and joy out of my life for that split second, you need to watch out for folks like this seriously!

Here is a list of theses toxic personalities,
I had to switch up the names to suite my needs lol !





1. Manipulative Micah: These individuals are experts at manipulation tactics.
Is a matter of fact, you may not even realize you have been manipulated until it is too late. These individuals figure out what your 'buttons' are, and push them to get what they want.

Why they are toxic: These people have a way of eating away at your belief system and
self-esteem. They find ways to make you do things that you don't necessarily want to do and before you know it, you lose your sense of identity, your personal priorities and your ability to see the reality of the situation. The world all of a sudden becomes centered around their needs and their priorities.


2. Narcissistic Nikki: These people have an extreme sense of self-importance and believe that the world revolves around them. They are often not as sly as the Manipulative Marys of the world, but instead, tend to be a bit overt about getting their needs met. You often want to say to them "It isn't always about you."

Why they are toxic: They are solely focused on their needs, leaving your needs in the dust.
You are left disappointed and unfulfilled. Further, they zap your energy by getting you to focus so much on them, that you have nothing left for yourself.



3. Debbie Downers: These people can't appreciate the positive in life. If you tell them that it is a beautiful day, they will find somthing wrong like screaming "NO IT NOT, IT'S TOO HOT!"
If you tell them you aced a mid-term, they'll tell you about how difficult the final is going to be.

Why they are toxic: They take the joy out of everything. Your rosy outlook on life continues to get squashed with negativity. Before you know it, their negativity consumes you and you start looking at things with gray colored glasses yourself.



4. Judgmental Jessica: When ever you see things as cute and fly, they see things as strange and unattractive. If you find people's unique perspectives refreshing, they find them 'wrong'.
If you like someone's unique taste, they find it 'disturbing' or 'bad'.
basically these types of chicks always have some thing to say and it's usually never positive!

Why they are toxic: Judgmental people are much like Debbie Downers. In a world where freedom rings, judgment is so over. I have found in life that a lot of judgmental people are insecure with them selves, and are far from perfect! so this is why they judge others so harshly.
Spending a lot of time with these types can inadvertently convert you into a judgmental person as well.



5. Dream Killing Keisha a.k.a the playa hater!:
Every time you have an idea, these people tell you why you can't do it. As you achieve, they try to pull you down. As you dream, they are the first to tell you it is impossible.
these folks are straight up haters there is no other words to describe them!

Why they are toxic: These people are stuck in what is instead of what could be. Further, these individuals eat away at your self-esteem and your belief in yourself. Progress and change can only occur from doing new things and innovating, dreaming the impossible and reaching for the stars. So screw the haters and belive in your own goals and dreams!





6. Insincere Inez a.k.a funny acting!: You never quite feel that these people are being sincere. You tell a funny story, they give you a polite laugh. You feel depressed and sad and they give you a 'there, there' type response. You tell them you are excited about something and you get a very ho-hum response. They also tend to always have a smart responce for everything as well!

Why they are toxic: People who aren't sincere or genuine build relationships on superficial criteria. This breeds shallow, meaningless relationships. When you are really in need of a friend, they won't be there. When you really need constructive criticism, they would rather tell you that you are great the way you are. When you need support, they would rather see you fail or make a fool of yourself.


7. Disrespectful Dan a.k.a the loose cannon: These people will say or do things at the most inappropriate times and in the most inappropriate ways. In essence, they are more subtle, grown up bullies. Maybe this person is a friend who you confided in and uses your secret against you. Maybe it is a family member who's all in your business, when it is none of their business!Or maybe, it is a colleague who says demeaning things to you.

Why they are toxic: These people have no sense of boundaries and don't respect your feelings or, for that matter, your privacy. These people will cause you to feel frustrated and disrespected.
cut them off asap because before long, it may turn in to a physical altercation!




8. Never Enough Nellies: You can never give enough to these people to make them happy. They take you for granted and have unrealistic expectations of you. They find ways to continually fault you and never take responsibility for anything themselves.
Parents and other family member can sometimes fall in to this category.

Why they are toxic: You will spend so much time trying to please them, that you will end up losing yourself in the process. They will require all of your time and energy, leaving you worn out and your own needs sacrificed.


so to all my young people out there, getting ready for the real world, these are the people you need to steer clear from. you have so much to look forward too don't let anyone or anything deter you from your dreams and goals! send out positive vibes and in return you shall bring positive people in to your life.
remember my saying life is too short!!!
DO NOT spend your time dealing with TOXICITY AND OR NEGATIVITY.

what type of eyebrows are you rocking!

Hey everyone I hope all is well today, I'm just going to talk about eyebrows today!
Well ladies if eyes are the window to your soul, they should be framed properly.
The shaping and styling of your eyebrows can reflect your personality, make a statement or gently emphasize your appearance.



Throughout the ages, eyebrows often reflected the culture and politics of that era.
Today’s eyebrows often follow trends from the past mixed with today’s style, but shaped to reflect personal preference. Eyebrows can make a bold statement about your personality, making you come across as feminine, confident or mischievous.

Straight and thin:

Cosmetic Tattoo Procedure for Permanent Eyebrows:

sometimes cosmetic eyebrow tattooing is a necessary step in the reconstruction of a face following a traumatic accident, it can also be used for patients who have sparse eyebrows and do not want to apply brow liner daily. Most of the time, these patients are women who are concerned about the way that their eyebrows frame their face. Some patients are allergic to cosmetics or have poor eyesight and cannot apply their makeup correctly. In these and other cases, cosmetic eyebrow tattooing is a viable option. Sometimes the tattoo is a permanent tattoo done purely for cosmetic purposes

eye brow threading is all the rage now, i remember hearing about this 9mths ago,
now Indian threaders are all over the mall, preforming this service i love to watch people get their eyebrows threaded, i haven't done it yet my friend did it and she said it hurt real bad,
but it was worth it, because her eye brows looked good!
I figure it can't hurt any more then waxing or plucking lol.

what shape are you?

Hey everyone wow it's been a while, I hope all of my lovelies have been doing wonderful!!
I have been having issues with my laptop, I only do vids and blog posts from my laptop because my pc runs slow, the charger on my laptop shorted out 2 weeks ago and I had been waiting for a new one, it finally came yesterday so I am back baby!

Well it felt great to take some time away from making videos and posts,
but I miss ya'll so I am back lol.
Today I will be talking about shapes/body types

I feel that once a women knows her body type she can buy clothing and swim suites that work well for her shape summer is coming ladies and all of the short summer out fits will be coming out of the closet so I wanted to make this post,
enjoy!



Determine Your Body Type
Do you tend to carry weight in both your upper and lower body, yet are more slender through the waist? Is there a significant difference between the circumference of your chest and your waist (or between your hips and waist)? Does your body appear balanced and curvaceous when you look in the mirror?
If so, you are an HOURGLASS.
remember ladies to be an hourglass there has to be a minimum of a 6inch difference between your waist and your bust and hips you should look like an hour glass literally before you can claim this shape.

Do you carry most of your weight in your hips, thighs and buttocks? Are you more slender on the top? Do you tend to gain weight or carry extra weight from the hips down? Do your eyes go directly to the lower half of your body when you look in the mirror?
If so, you are a SPOON/PEAR.
Are you pretty much built straight up and down with very few curves? Is there little difference in the circumferences of your chest, waist and hips? Do you tend to put on weight around your midsection?
If so, you are a RULER.

Do you tend to carry most of your weight in your back, chest, arms and stomach? Are you more slender from the hips down?
If so, you are a CONE/OVAL/TRIANGLE.

Important Facts and Tips :
Most women are either Spoons or Hourglasses.
Most men are Rulers or Cones.
If you are overweight, it may be more difficult to determine your actual body type.
You may be caught between body types.


You can be thin or fat for your body type, as well as short or tall for your body type.
Although it is not very common, some women are flat-chested Hourglasses. Remember that determining your body type is about proportion. It is the total circumference of your back and chest that is relevant, not the size of your breasts.

Some female Rulers naturally have big breasts, though it is not the norm.
Although Spoon women are relatively small to medium chested,
you could be a busty Spoon, though your hips and thighs will be comparatively larger.
Your "diet" has very little to do with your body type,
but it does directly influence your scale weight.

If you are having problems determining your body type, it is probably because you are carrying extra weight. Fear not, simply follow the Hourglass workout until you shed off some of that weight. As you become slimmer and your natural shape begins to emerge, you can start adding some resistance and weight to your exercises.

I find that many women look in the mirror and have eyes only for their problem areas. I can't tell you how many women misdiagnose their body type as a Spoon. They are all obsessed with the size of their thighs. A woman who is 5'8" and 170 pounds, who bulks in the arms and the thighs and is more slender around her stomach may think she is a Spoon because she has very big thighs. But in reality, she is an Hourglass with a tendency to bulk down below a little faster than she does up above.

I call this type of woman a bottom-heavy Hourglass. She bulks both above and below but more on her bottom half. Because she is overweight by at least 20 pounds, a lot of that extra weight is emphasized below. She only thinks she is a Spoon because she dislikes that part of her body so much.
In truth, you're only temporarily caught between types. Deep down you are a pure Hourglass, Spoon, Ruler or Cone and you're overweight. You cannot be anything else. For example, you can't be a top-heavy Ruler, because someone who bulks only on top by definition is a Cone.
Nor can you be a top-heavy Spoon, because that would make you an Hourglass. If you are larger throughout any one part of your body, you are either overweight and/or bulkier due to the type of exercises you have been performing.


TAKING MEASUREMENTS:
Measurements are very important every women should know their measurements,
Especially if you are trying to get in to modeling or the entertainment industry,
Unfortunately weight and body shape is such a huge deal and you have to have your body on point.

If you are not overweight then try toning up any problem areas.
you can't spot diet but you can tone up muscle.
For me my issue is my waist it's not as slim as it used to be lol mainly due to my 2 kids,
When I was younger I had a 23inch waist,
After my first child I was a 25inchs and still very proportionate...

but after my 2nd it's been a lil harder to maintain :)
Well I started toning up and getting back in shape 4 weeks ago I have been doing a belly dance work out video, and core abs.
I have been taking my measurements again since 3-27th and I have toned up a lot I am proud of my self because I hate to work out and I love to eat, but summers coming up so I had no choice lol

March 27th

38-33-41
April 29th
38-30-40
I will measure again at the end of this month
My goal is 27 inches I probably won't get there till July lol
I strongly recommend that you take measurements prior to starting any body-type fitness routine. I suggest that you record your measurements every 30 days.
While toning up or losing weight this will help a lot so you won't over do it,
And loose too much weight.

Keeping track of your measurements will also help you adjust your workouts to meet your goals. Let's say you are an Hourglass and two months into your workouts you notice that while you're losing inches from your hips and thighs, your upper arms and back aren't responding as well. That typically means that you are not doing enough of your upper-body routine and/or aerobic exercise. Knowing this, you can then adjust your workouts so that your upper body begins to change at a faster pace. You may also find that after losing a certain number of inches throughout your body that you don't need to lose as much weight as you first thought.
You may have started out thinking you needed to lose at least 15 pounds, but after two months, of toning up you find out that you have dropped two dress sizes even though you only lost only 5 pounds. toning up is a lot better then dieting and popping diet pills, you are working your body out by doing simple exercises and walking more, hell a lot of us need to get up and exercise more, This can help to prevent all types of diseases.

How and Where to Take Your Measurements
get a tape measure and record the circumference of the following:

CHEST. Place the tape measure across the middle of your breasts or chest and around the circumference of your back; exhale before the measurement is recorded.
WAIST. Place the tape measure around your midsection, 1 inch above your belly button.

HIPS. Place the tape measure just below your hips, at the widest spot but still above your buttocks.

THIGHS. Measure the circumference of your upper thigh at the widest point, just barely under your buttocks.
KNEES. Measure 1 inch above the top of your kneecap.
CALVES. Measure in the middle of the calf, at the widest point.

ARMS. Measure on the upper arm just under the armpit, at the widest part.
Guidelines to Help Determine Your Body Type

Here are a few examples of some measurements:

1. HOURGLASSES will find that there is at least a 6-inch difference between their chest and waist and between their hips and waist. The girths of their chest and hips are within a couple of inches of one another. Common Hourglass measurements for chest, waist and hips respectively are 33-26-33, 36-30-38, 34-28-35, 39-32-38, or 42-35-44.

2. SPOONS/PEARS will find that there is not a significant difference between the girths of their chest and waist but a significant difference between the girths of their hips and chest. For example, 34-30-38, 36-30-44, or 32-28-39.
3. RULERS will find that their chest, waist and hips are relatively close in measurement. Rulers are similar to Hourglasses but are less curvy and not as slender through the waist. For example, 34-30-35, 36-33-37, or 40-36-42.

4.CONES/TRIANGLE/OVAL/DIAMONDS
will find that their chest and waist are relatively close in measurement and that their hips and thighs are significantly smaller than their chest.
For example, 36-32-30, 40-36-33, or 34-30-29.
Remember, if you're overweight, you could be "caught" between body types.

Rulers: have the most common body type. Over 45% of American women have a Straight body shape. This means that your hips and bust are balanced and your waist is not very defined. You probably have a bottom that is more flat than round. You tend to gain weight in your torso first and then your upper thighs and arms. Your lower legs are always shapely and one of your best assets.

How to Dress a ruler Body Shape
The key to dressing a Straight body type is to proportionally dress the top and bottom of your body while enhancing your waist. If you are comfortable doing so, you can wear form fitting clothing (such as a tube-type dress) and create a waist by adding a wide, dark belt. However,

You first gain weight in your bottom and legs flowed by you tummy and upper body. Your waist is your best asset so don’t be afraid to show it off.

How to Dress a Pear Body Shape
The key to dressing a pear body type is to enhance and add volume (or the illusion of volume) to your upper body while emphasizing your waist and deemphasizing your lower body to create a balanced, hourglass appearance. If you have the Hourglass body consider yourself lucky because this is what most women strive for. Your bust and hips are well balanced and you have a beautifully defined waist.
You have gently rounded shoulders that align nicely with your hips. Your waist is obvious and gracefully curves out to your hips.
You most likely have a rounded bottom and beautiful side as well as front profile.
Your upper body is proportionate in length to your legs which are shapely.
From top to bottom, you are a picture of harmony and balance.
The key to dressing an Hourglass body type is to proportionally dress the top and bottom of your body while accentuating your waist. Wide belts over shirts
and dresses are a great way to show off your waist. You can create an even more curvaceous effect by proportionally adding a bit of volume to your upper and lower body, but always try to maintain balance since it is your best asset. You have great legs so feel free to play with any skirt length.

Triangle Body Type:
As an Inverted Triangle body type, you have a proportionally larger upper body.
You have broad shoulders, and ample bust and a wide back. Your hips are slim and your bottom may have a tendency towards the flat side. Your waist is subtle and you have a tendency to gain weight in your belly and upper body. Your beautiful, shapely legs are your best asset.
The key to dressing an Inverted Triangle body type is to balance your broader shoulders, chest and back with your narrower lower body to create more of an hourglass effect.
This is achieved by choosing clothes that add curves to your hips and bottom while creating a more defined waist. You have amazing legs so feel free to play with skirt
lengths, but don’t go too short otherwise you will further a top-heavy look.

Apple or Oval Body Type:
As an Oval body type, you have a large bust, narrow hips, and a full midsection. You have a tendency to gain weight in your stomach, back and upper body. Your waist is undefined and the widest part of your frame. You also have a full, shorter neck and full face. Your buttocks are somewhat flat and your legs are slender. Your shapely legs are your best asset.

The key to dressing an Oval body type is to deemphasize your midsection and create a more defined waist. This is achieved by choosing clothing that add curves and fullness to your lower body and tops that taper to a waist. You have amazing legs so feel free to play with skirt
lengths, but don’t go too short otherwise you will further a top-heavy look.

Diamond Body TypeAs a Diamond body type, your hips are broader than you bust and shoulders and you have a full midsection. You have a tendency to gain weight in you stomach, back, hips and buttocks. Your waist is undefined and the widest part of your frame. You carry some weight in your upper legs, but your lower legs are shapely and one of your most attractive features.
