True or fiction (terminal length)

Hi everyone sorry for the super late blog! I have been having issues with blogger, not sending my blog out by email and it also deleted the blog that I did yesterday on the Oscars
:( (sigh) what can you do lol.....

Well today I’m gonna blog about that dreaded topic terminal length, I get this question alot, so what is terminal you ask? is it real or just an ugly hair legend?
lol sorry to tell you folks it's very much real. So what is terminal length? it's basically the end of your growth cycle it's when your hair, won't grow any longer the average terminal length time is around mid back length,which is around 3-5 years... some people do stop at bra-strap length.

The way you will be able to tell when that time comes, is that your hair will not be able to grow past a certain length for an entire year, keep in mind that you are doing all the right things,
and haven't changed your regiment dramatically. Most ladies will try their hardest to get out of this hair rurt, but after a year of still being stuck at bsl, they usually then come to the realization that they may have hit their terminal length. So yes this is true the average person white or black usually can not grow waist length hair, unless it's in their genes.

I have seen quite a few black ladies online with gorgeous waist length hair :) so I am not saying that it is impossible, but don't beat your self up if you can not grow past bsl or mbl length. terminal length is strictly determined by genetics, it also varies between the sexes and from one person to another. It is the length of this time that decides how long the hair will grow.

Differences in hair length depend on the length of anagen, which is genetically determined. These two people started off with hair of the same length and went without a haircut for 18 months: the man's hair grows only to his collar before it falls out naturally, but the woman's anagen period is clearly much longer [reproduced from Diseases of the Hair and Scalp, A. Well as for me, I want to get to midback length that will be a great length for me,
if my hair wants to grow to my waist, i'll take it lol but no one on my side of the family has waist lenght hair so maybe i can be the 1st lol!

OK before I forget, I wanted to share some of my layouts with my friends on here, this is something I am learning to do, in my spear time, I love it! My girl thought me a lot about graphic art, I went to school for IT but I have never been too artistic, I mainly studied the hardware aspect of computers, how to dignose, fix and give technical support ect.
lol i told ya'll i'm a nerd and i'm proud of it too, i love books and computers.
Well I have always been interested in the other half of IT which is web design and graphic art, So since I have some free time, I am learning a lot more about film editing,website design and graphic art. So I wanted to show you some of my layouts that I put together last night lol
I couldn't sleep. The 1st is riri and c-breezy lol I decided to make this, to show people that no matter how good things look on the outside, you never know what is going on with others internally. The 2nd pic is rihanna emerging from all of this mess, like a butterfly from a cocoon.
I hope Chris emerges a better person as well, i'm praying for them, he truely needs help!

Hey everyone, I hope everybody is doing well!!

wow it's been a crazy week if you don't know, Rhianna's injury photos were leaked this morning, it's been all over the net and the news, I blogged about it today and I have attached the video, I think the whole situation is terrible....
Chris's career is over and I feel bad about that, because he worked so hard for it, but it's his own fault! as you see both of their songs play on this blog all the time,so I am very sadden by this.

Chris had absolutely no right to hit her, regardless of the situation...
he beat her like she was a f-ing man. I feel bad that this picture got leaked because I can only imagine how the both of them feel, but I'm kind of glad about it too, because we needed to see this. we need to show our young daughters, nieces, sisters etc that domestic violence is never ok,
ON EITHER PART!!!!

No one should put their hands on anyone else, especially if they are claiming to love them so much. I hope everything works out for Rhianna, and i pray that Chris gets some type of help. they truly need to end their relationship it's too volatile.
The news reporters are saying that Chris will be facing serious jail time!
smdh they said the same crap about R-Kelly and he's running around Scott free!

Hi everyone hope all is well :) tomorrow is Valentine’s Day!!
I ♥ valentine's day even thoe it is commercial as hell lol.
I love it because it's a great day to spend with your significant other!

Well I wanted to give everyone some last minute Valentine’s Day tips.
With the economy being as bad as it is, and people losing their jobs...
I wanted to share some in expensive ways to celebrate
Valentine day with out spending a lot of money!

breakfeast in bed!
Food is the way to a man's heart, you can make romantic pancakes, by using a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Scissors are all you need to make heart-shaped toast, you can also buy a heart-shaped waffel maker, add a splash of red strawberries jam to the toast to give it a romantic feeling.

A bowl of cereal is one thing, but that same bowl on a tray with a vase of flowers, and a neatly folded napkin, can make breakfest in bed even more romantic. Ladies Be Creative try hiding a poem or a small flat gift under the plate. That tiny space is perfect for hiding movie tickets!!

A photo is worth more then a 1000 words you better believe it!

what you need to do is find pictures that best represent the happiest moment in your current relationship, maybe it was when you guys went to 6 flags and had a ball, maybe it was on the beach were he set up a romantic dinner for you, maybe it was at the club lol either way take the picture and frame it in a beautiful valentines day frame, you can get beautiful frames from
dollar tree and no one would be the wiser. You can also add some personalized comments on the pictures with romantic stickers.

Romantic Songs!
Create your own love CD with your songs on it as a couple. Add songs that bring back memories, such as singing together in the car or dancing together for the first time. You can even use your picture as the cd cover :)
I have done this in the past, it is a great gift option! One of the songs I put on my cd was, "your all I need" by Mary j and method man:) that is our song from back in the day!







Romantic bath!
you can have a bath ready for your significant other, I make my own bath salts all you have to do is take some Epsom salt add a lil food coloring and add some wonderful smelling fragrance oil.
I usually make about a cup full of red rose/strawberry scented salt, then I add it to the bubble bath, this makes the bathroom smell wonderful!

If you didn't know Epsom Salt is considered to be a natural stress reliever.
When dissolved in warm water, the Magnesium Sulfate is absorbed through the skin and replenishes the level of magnesium in the body. The salt draws toxins from the body, sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling and relaxes muscles. The magnesium helps to produce serotonin, a mood-elevating chemical within the brain that creates a feeling of calm and relaxation.







Cook a romantic dinner!
Make sure you cook what your man or girl likes, not what you like lol!
You can make what ever you want, but make sure to not forget the desert!!
You can make a luxurious dessert, like cheesecake or chocolate mousse, if your man likes lighter desserts, chocolate-covered strawberries or sorbet are delicious choices.

Make your bedroom romantic!
Bust out the sexy red or black satin sheets, if you can't afford real rose petals, you can get a pack of fake rose petals at Wal-Mart for $2 lol...
I saw them the other day, anyways you can spread them across the bed in the shape of a heart, don't forget the candles!!!
Nothing is more romantic then candles, I suggest getting sentenced candles you can get some nice one's at Wal-Mart they have a wide variety of sizes & sents for really low prices.
You can also buy heart shaped candles that are scented, light them up all around the room for a romantic feel, make sure to blow them out before going to sleep;)

You can get these at wal mart!!


Well what-ever you decide to do, make sure it's fun and memorable for not only you,but your partner. remember Valentine's Day is about love, and not about expensive gifts.

Grammys 2009

The Grammy’s aired last night it was a pretty good show, a lot of hip hop fans were waiting to see lil wayne preform! He did a recent interview with Katie Couric this past Friday's on cbs,
The interview was interesting to say the least, lil wayne is his own man, he listens to no one and makes his own rules he is also a self proclaimed “GANGSTA” lol

Well I enjoyed watching the interview it was kind of comical, one thing that I did get from it is that I need to make sure I work harder to be a good role model for my kids, lil wayne is right it is not his job to be a role model for other people’s children, that is the parents job so for those saying he is not a role model,
of course he's not he’s an entertainer!

This is all he is paid to do, it is not mtv or bet’s job to raise your kids, In my opinion if your child considers him or any other rapper a role model, then talk to them and explain to them that role model is not in their job description.
So instead of trying to call them out, realize that no matter what people say or think most of these guys don't give a damn, and do not care to be your child's role model....
he is no different from Michael Phelps at the end of the day they are two adults, and they are paid to do a job not guide your children.

Well the Grammy’s were great lil wayne performance with robin thicke was one of the best performances of the night, in my opinion. Lil wayne was nominated for eight awards.
Lil' Wayne won rap album of the year for Tha Carter III as well as best rap solo performance for "A Milli," rap song for "Lollipop" and rap/sung collaboration for "Swagga Like Us" he is sharing this award with TI, Kayne and JAY-Z.
