what type of eyebrows are you rocking!

Hey everyone I hope all is well today, I'm just going to talk about eyebrows today!
Well ladies if eyes are the window to your soul, they should be framed properly.
The shaping and styling of your eyebrows can reflect your personality, make a statement or gently emphasize your appearance.

Throughout the ages, eyebrows often reflected the culture and politics of that era.
Today’s eyebrows often follow trends from the past mixed with today’s style, but shaped to reflect personal preference. Eyebrows can make a bold statement about your personality, making you come across as feminine, confident or mischievous.

So what's your eyebrow style?

mixing it up:
Style:Thin and arched or long and thick, eyebrows are styled according to the shape of a woman’s eyes and face; therefore, many varying styles are common.

Cosmetic Tattoo Procedure for Permanent Eyebrows:

sometimes cosmetic eyebrow tattooing is a necessary step in the reconstruction of a face following a traumatic accident, it can also be used for patients who have sparse eyebrows and do not want to apply brow liner daily. Most of the time, these patients are women who are concerned about the way that their eyebrows frame their face. Some patients are allergic to cosmetics or have poor eyesight and cannot apply their makeup correctly. In these and other cases, cosmetic eyebrow tattooing is a viable option. Sometimes the tattoo is a permanent tattoo done purely for cosmetic purposes

The permanent makeup tattoo that is applied is made up of vegetable products that are injected into the skin. After an anesthetic ointment is applied, tiny needles are used to inject the coloring and are sometimes seen on a rotary coil instrument. The tip is dipped into the dye and then the needle is placed into the skin in cosmetic eyebrow tattooing. Some bleeding may occur as the skin is punctured, but it will be minimal. Most cosmetic eyebrow tattooing procedures last an hour, but it depends on the extent of the work that needs to be done. At the end of the session, the area will be cleaned and an antiseptic cream will be applied. Eyebrow tattooing requires fine work to look good. To achieve this, the tattoos are often applied by hand rather than with electric needles. The technician can achieve much finer and pleasing results by hand, but this also makes the procedure longer!

eyebrow threading!!!

eye brow threading is all the rage now, i remember hearing about this 9mths ago,
now Indian threaders are all over the mall, preforming this service i love to watch people get their eyebrows threaded, i haven't done it yet my friend did it and she said it hurt real bad,
but it was worth it, because her eye brows looked good!
I figure it can't hurt any more then waxing or plucking lol.
eyebrow threading:
Originated in India, threading also known as “Knits” in Arabic and “Fatlah” in Egypt is an ancient method of hair removal.

The art of eyebrow threading may be seen in the gentle and precise twisting of a length of cotton thread which is twisted along the hair which is to be removed. This twisting action traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle.

BENEFITS OF EYEBROW THREADING:
It is less painful than waxing. Since threading only targets the individual hairs, skin irritation is kept to a minimum, unlike waxing, which often causes unnecessary stretching and removal of the skin’s delicate top layers.

Threading is very precise and allows having a greater control than waxing, resulting in a better brow shape for you!

Threading is 100% natural, there are no artificial waxes, chemicals, invasive techniques or involvement of sharp objects or heat-it is considered one of the safest and least painful methods of hair removal.

Threading can get rid of individual, or a complete line of unwanted hair - giving the eyebrows a very clean and defined look.
Does not cause ingrown hairs and the growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments Even the short stubbly hair can be removed, this gives you the option of avoiding that ugly growth period that everyone hates!

For women who Breakout from waxing, you will NOT break out from threading!
it does not peel, traumatize, or remove the top layer of the skin.
here is a great video that teaches you,
how to thread your own eyebrows!
the ladies at the mall charge $10

I hope you enjoyed the blog, take care of your eyebrows they truly help to frame your face and what ever you do, please don't come out the house looking like this lady lol
her eyebrows were shaved off then drawn back on with eyeliner,
I never understand why people do that??
peace out!

I agree, lovelyti. I never could wrap my mind around those who shave off their eyebrows to draw them back on or don't have eyebrows at all. I could not be bothered with drawing on my eyebrows everyday. That means I have too much time on my hands, plus I would look like a clown.

I have to friends who had their eyebrows tattoed on, not b/c of medical reasons but for fashion and they both are the "draw them on" type, so the tattoo made it easier. They shape is so perfect, though.
