Hey everyone I hope all is well!!
What a fabulous month this has been so far!
like I stated prior my son's birthday is Jan 15th the same day as Martin Luther king's birthday so that was our first blessing....then Jan 19th was MLK day and they had so much going on all over the country, there where parades, speeches and sermons!
There were also a lot of excellent shows on tv dedicated to Dr.king and his legacy, me and the family watched a wonderful special on the history Chanel,
it was a in-depth look at MLK'S life and death and the conspiracy concerning who really took his life it was very interesting!
Well Jan 20 was the day the world stood still, everyone was watching America
in anticipation of Barack Obama inauguration, I am so proud of him and his family what a blessing!
I like many other black people never thought that I would see this day, but it is official, and no one can change the fact that Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States.
It was a joy and a blessing to see all of these people out there standing in the cold for hours waiting patiently just to support Barack!
Jan 20th will be forever etched in the memories of many Americans!
Here are some pics that I was able to get the are from the inauguration
the pics come from yahoo, and us weekly.
be blessed everyone,
ttyl!
